Who's getting is? You think it's worth the 7 bucks. It covers you twice with a year and up to $750.

I think it is more then worth it. You buy a $700 phone and two weeks later you break it, or drop it in a pool? You know what TELUS, Rogers or Bell will say right? "Sorry we do not cover that".
If you can afford a smartphone, you should be able to afford $7/mth. Unless you are extreamly carefull with your phone, I'd say go for it.

is this actually worth it or just another way for Telus to make some extra dough? $7 can add up from their millions of customers.

I am not with telus (with Bell) and since my Pre is almost a brick I wish I got the insurance. Well worth the 7 a month

^ Agreed. $252 extra over 3yrs. Would you rather pay $252 if you break you phone or $600+? I'll go with the $252.
Yes there is a deductable, but still cost a lot less then $600 (for a phone like the Pre or $700 for the iPhone).

this is a wicked deal! at telus the future is friendly even with broken phones :)
