Bell sim card into Fido

Hi,

I have a very old phone (not smart phone) just a normal phone that I bought from Asia a long time ago. I bought it there and I am using fido's pre-paid plan. (my phone should be unlocked, right?)

I tried to put a bell sim card into my phone, but it doesn't work?

Can anyone explain why?

I'm guessing that the phone you have is not supported by CDMA? I know Fido is uses GSM and maybe that phone are capable of reading's Fido sim card.
