WORST phone company ever, and worst customer service for a up and coming company trying to establish themselves. DO NOT GET SUCKERED IN!! They promise cheap rates but they have surprise zones that can leave you $193 phone bills and no one that can 'do' anything about them. And for the amount of dropped calls it's NOT worth it. Go with an established company that won't screw you, and if they some how do, will do what it takes to fix it.

Yes, Wind sucks. We know. Generally recommend Virgin over them, better phones, better network. No pay-off promise, but Wind doesnt exctly have pricey devices.

I would like to echo the thread starter's complaints

I joined Wind last December and was with them up until July

1. They promised to expand their coverage back in January - They didn't

2. All of their customer service calls are outsourced to a third world country

3. You will drop calls once you enter a building

4. NO coverage on Burnaby Mountain area around SFU

I am not sure how much the CRTC's ruling against them factored into all of this, but definitely not worth trying

Wind's customer service has gone from best to worst in a very short time.

The people are rude and either don't speak/understand English or they pretend not to.

They will not address or escalate even the most legitimate issue. They refuse to listen and want only to end the call -- even if it means hanging up on you.

Supposed low price plans are no longer relevant at all when customer problems get ignored and the customer ends up paying more than he/she is supposed to for the services.

Wind's CS seems to be totally incompetent. They have repeatedly refused to port my number out to 7Eleven SpeakOut so I've just abandoned it rather than have to deal with them any more.

Something to think about if you're porting into Wind; you may not be able to get your number out again without a big hassle!

I am personally not with Wind but have a couple of friends who are and echo the extreme degradation in customer service since launch.

I called wind because i had some questions and was considering switching.

The person was VERY RUDE.

Needless to say, i did not switch.
