View Full Version : Pre vs Tour

I'm getting a new phone from Bell but can't decide between the Pre and the Tour. I currently have a BB and like it a lot, so I like the idea of getting a new BB with the Tour. But the Pre seems to have some interesting features yet I'm hesitant to jump on board with it as I'm not convinced I'll like the touchscreen. I mainly use my phone for email and to go online, maps, etc.
Thoughts and suggestions?
Absolutely no question - BB tour. Read all the comments about the frustrations with the Pre

For e-mail, I'd take Blackberry over anything else any day. For browsing, I kinda like the Pre more.

e-mail = BB
keyboard = BB
Size and feel = Pre
browsing = Pre
sound quality = BB
Apps = BB
UI = Pre
Video & Camera = BB

The Pre has a nicer screen. Sleeker, smaller, fits in your pocket easier and has a nice user interface. BB is better for business.. emailing, video, battery life, etc. Keep in mind, the Pre will be getting video soon. Pre also has larger screen I think and requires less button pushing. Regarding Apps, BB has many more unless you count the classic palm emulator for Pre then Pre has tons more. I have one and love it!

i've used both and gotta say that the keyboard is better on the Tour, So is the e-mail and screen size. The only thing that is better on the Pre is the web

The pre is built really bad, the tour is better. But I would say wait for a month because the new network is coming out with better phones.
