Hi there,
New member here. I recently (about a week ago) signed up with Koodo and picked up a LG Optimus One with a $100 BB GC. I have the $20 100 minutes and 7PM unlimited evenings and weekends with $10 unlimited text and voicemail and caller ID. Love the phone and it gives me wifi access at home and work.
I received my first bill today and noticed that my evening calls were labelled as 'D' calls. The time indicated on one evening call in particular was well after 1900 hours (7PM) and should be marked 'E'. While I only had the phone for a few days I was no where near my 100 minutes however it dawned on me that if I had I might have been charged for these calls.
My question is would their system pick these up as billable or evening calls? Has anyone else seen this on their bills? Anyone on Koodo might want to check to see whether they have been charged for evening calls (perhaps Telus as well as my phone indicates them as the carrier but their billing 'systems' might be different) if their minutes are used when in fact these calls should be covered by their plan if they have one.
For the record I did call their customer service and they were very helpful. They indicated they had never seen this before and had to put me on hold to confirm I was right.
So heads up to the Koodo users out there!
