Still no devices/plans but this is still nice.

Love the part about not charging for fictional costs.

Lets hope fictional costs include texts since its kind of been proven that texts literally cost the carriers nothing. But of course they won't since texts are the carriers bread and butter.

So long as the big 3 adjust their prices to compete, I'm happy.

Here is the info:

First we start with the plans. There will be none of the following:

- No contracts
- No System Access Fee
- No Caller ID or Voice Mail fees
- No in province Long Distance (i.e. calling anywhere in your province should be a local call)

There will also only be 3 rate plans to start.

Next we move on to the phones.

- Bold 9700
- HTC Snap/Dash 3g
- Huawei U8220
- There will also be a Samsung slider. Not too sure on the model but it is one with a full slide out keyboard.

Finally at launch Wind will have Microsoft Surface in all their stores.

As much as I want the competition, Globalive/Wind Mobile defintely needed to restructure.

Listen to the hearings and you will all understand. I hope they can get it done before the new year.

kinda sad about the news, but can understand why the CRTC said no. I still think Globalive will launch, just delayed

Great info The sad fact is you will see the same questions asked again and again that you have just answered. I agree, it should be pinned. Maybe some people will see it then since they cant seem to figure ouy the search feature here.
