During the Press Conference of the HTC Hero Launch Party in Taiwan HTC confirmed that they will be offering the HTC "Sense UI" as a free update via the HTC Website.
So for those on the fence about rooting your Magic or waiting it out for a Hero this might be pertinent information.
I know people are going to start by thinking but Sense UI is already available by rooting the phone. But I made the post purely for informative purposes.

This a good news because the official release of HTC Sense for the Magic will work better than the "Hero-ROMs" we can find on the web.
I hope it's going to be release before October 31st!

This is something that will help the customers that aren't phone junkies like us. Now they can get it with out the technical stuff. Sense UI is huge bonus to htc devices.

Has this been put out yet? Those who bout the original androids are kinda getting shanked
my GF magic suddenly died, won't turn on, battery was fully charged... any ideas on what to do?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news... don't expect a Sense UI update any time soon for us suckers with Dreams & Magics.
Only way to do it is to root and slap a custom cooked ROM on there.
