Blackberry 9530

The first generation Blackberry Storm is available for purchase (new) at a little over $100 on eBay. While this model was considered lacking (when it was first released) it was always regarded as a brilliant phone, for making phone calls etc, and the display was rated second to none.

Recent software updates have improved this model tremendously (so I have read) and I am contemplating purchasing one, mostly to use as a phone (worldwide) but also for messaging (email etc) and light web browsing.

Does anyone here use this model still (I am wondering) - what are your thoughts :)

I had one back when they first came out.. I was really happy it.
I also knew another guy who hated his.

I recommend the phone... wouldn't mind having one kicking around.
Just update the software if it's not already done.

I still using the BBStorm 9530. email, message works fine, music and video is very good, speaker is nice, I like the long bettary life and good phone call quality. I put an 32G Micro SD cd, tons of fun. it is a brilliant phone.
