Hey,

I'm interested in the HTC Magic from Rogers.

I've noted that browsing limits set by Rogers almost make this phone redundant (I'd be interested only in the current my5 mega combo deal with 500mb for 45 CAD) thus I'd like to know, as this phone is WIFI enabled can I switch the phone to a WIFI zone where available and does this eat into the data allowance?

If so, is 500mb enough for maybe checking 1 or two news stories a day plus e-mail downloading/viewing.

I come from Scotland (hence the username :) ) So I'm a little underwhelmed with the mobile plans here compared to the UK where one can get great deals from the likes of Vodafone, O2, T-mobile, orange (francetelecom).

Cheers,

Ecosse.

It's Loch Ness BTW :p

Why is this the wrong section - this is a question about a Rogers cellphone. In Toronto BTW and specifically about a cell plan that Rogers provides. It's not an HTC Magic question - I know the phone has Wifi capabilities.

Cheers anyway Canuck!
