I got the HTC sensation because I have concerns about eye strain on the sgs2, although I dont know if it will be a problem. Some issues have cropped up on the sensation that make me want to try the sgs2. If I exchange the sensation for the sgs2, and it turns out to be unnaceptable, can I switch back to the sensation? I know this is really a stretch.

14 day return policy. Phone has to be in same condition received in, and be under 30 minutes talk, and 50mb data. Every phone restarts this 14 day return policy. The sales rep may be a little grumpy, but you can do it.. As long as the limits are under, and it is in perfect condition.

How are you liking the Sensation after owning it for > 2 weeks? Do you have any regrets or did you end up switching to the sgs2?

What issues are you seeing on the HTC? I'm really keen to get the Sensation because I prefer it's heft to the Samsung... Just saving up some $$$ for it.

I might even just get it on supertab and then buy it outright when I have the cash (rather than leave it on supertab forever...)

TIA!
Cheers

This is correct for the most part ;)

However, Virgin does not have limitations on talk time, text, or data.

If you buy a phone from Virgin Mobile and you decide that you don't like it, you can return it within 14 days on the condition there is no physical damage or cosmetic damage to the phone. The 14 day period resets from the time of return, so your next phone will also have that 14 day "trial" period.

If lets say, you buy a phone from Virgin Mobile, and something goes wrong with the phone within 30 days (yet you still want to use the phone), you may exchange the phone for a new one on the condition there is no physical damage to the phone (it has to look brand new).

This is the reason I like Virgin Mobile - they are very lenient when it comes to purchases, they truly want you to pick a phone that you are happy with.

I had the opportunity to use the Sensation for a month and a half. I did not like the phone and really pushed my customers to go for the SGS2. The Sensation had a horrible battery life, and was bloated with HTC Sense (which really did bog down the potential processing power of the phone).

At the time I had the phone, there were no custom kernels or roms available for flashing. The thing I did like about the Sensation was the way it felt in your hand - it felt very sturdy to hold. I also liked the way HTC did the battery cover - when you took it off, you could clean the inner edges of the screen rather than having gunk sit in the sides for an eternity.

Remember, if you're gonna buy your Sensation outright, you still have the opportunity to collect a positive balance on your supertab if you leave a minimum of $25 remaining on your tab with Virgin.
