Taken from Sammy740 from HowardForums:
As previously announced, Bell Mobility is currently building out our HSPA network within Canada that will launch in time to host the world at the 2010 Olympic Games in February. It’s the single largest network upgrade ever done by any carrier in the world. In fact, our network build has been progressing at breakneck speed. This network will solidify Bell's wireless leadership. It will mean we will now be able to offer clients the benefits of the fastest and largest network in Canada, and the latest HSPA phones/smartphones in addition to our CDMA line-up. For clients that travel internationally, we will be pleased to offer international roaming on all our HSPA phones/smartphones.
Effective July 31 Bell Mobility will be updating its hardware upgrade program to reflect changes in the current economic environment. There will be less promotional upgrade opportunities available on our phones/smartphones for the remainder of 2009. We encourage you to postpone hardware upgrades until January 2010, when Bell Mobility will have an even broader suite of exciting phones/smartphones to choose from.
