so I've been owning one since december/janurary through bell.
so far I do kinda still like it but still there are quite a few many things thats been annoying me for quite a while now if anyone could perhaps help with them?
1. finding a trrs-to-trs adapter within canada (only nokia.com has it but not nokia.ca)
2. videos&tv app never worked, I'm wondering if its just because of the carrier or something else
3. is there any alternative map software I could try instead? the recent ovi map revamp to say the least is both a little confusing and less-features than the old one was.
I used to like the strength bar since theres a very noticeable pinpointing difference when you only have a quarter verus half locating strength you know. that and where did the road traffic feature disappear to
(before you ask, the previous build stopped locating anymore so I had to update it as usual. I did not expect a complete different version tho! know what I'm saying?)
4. are wifi points always stored in memory for forever? there was one particular house where 3g is just modest yet I temporarily borrowed wifi instead once as to email some photos. and ever since its always wanted to use wifi all the times even if 3g atm is good.
I've always kept wifi scanning off just for the record.
5. is it normal for the bottom of back side to be a bit warm from time to time? I'm using a simple plastic protector panel if that matters
6. I'm still a little muted over nokia selling out ovimail to yahoo but still use it for the time being nevertheless, the only problem I can't figure out is why theres only one Inbox as normal but there seem to be "two" seperate Sent folders here tho. one just on the phone and one just on webmail.
7. is ovi sync going to be broken for good? its been that way ever since ovimail switched to yahoo but I'm not sure if thats the only cause for it.
I'll appreciate being able to figure out issues 1,3, and 6 asap. the other aren't that necessary to me.
I do know that the gps can't quite pinpoint to exact street numbers but its rough pinpointing has been quite helpful tho. especially when the actual numbers or in some cases business names are blocked from view (this happens a lot on seasonal market streets!) so I'm then walking slowly looking at the ovimap waiting for it to tell me when I'm somewhere between 130 and 140 so I can then try find the right door for 136 that I was looking for without too many back n forth 'guessing' runnings

p.s any other owners ever noticed that if they leave a photo opened all the times in the background then let the phone go to sleep on its own this sometimes seem to cause the os to lock up till you take the battery out for a second to reset it?
