Hey all,
I would like to know if anyone has the TE365 and has managed to get syncing working. Currently, the LG PC Suite software recognizes that the phone is connected (sees it as a KS360), but when I try to sync (or do anything else) it says that there was an error connecting to the phone (no other details). Here are some more gory details:
- Running Windows XP Pro
- Yes, I switched the phone to USB data mode
- The phone didn't come with a CD, so I had to find the software online. For the USB driver, I was able to get "LGUSBModemDriver_WHQL_ML_Ver_4.9.4_All_NP_v1" . Windows thinks that the phone is recognized correctly (and as I said, the LG software sees that the right phone is connected), but maybe I need a newer driver? Anyone know where I can get the latest USB driver?
- I purchased the USB cable on ebay. The seller specifically said it works with the TE365, but maybe the problem is a generic cable?
- I got a hold of the latest version of B2CAppSetup (LG Mobile Update) from the LG website, in order to get the latest driver, but it crashes after downloading R008-2009-00026_090129_TE365.zip . I've tried this on two computers (one Vista, one XP) with the same result. Anyone know where I can download this ZIP directly?
I know that others have syncing working with the KS360, but now I'm wondering if the Rogers version (TE365) is crippled in some way so that it can't sync...
Any help would be much appreciated!
