Theres a pic of the digital compass though, iPhone 3G doesnt support that.

I heard the back apple logo will now glow, kinda cool and consistent with how the computers are

I kind of like the mat better, and probably we'll see more of it on different brands as most of the latest phones are easily smeared and this is one way to solve this.
Plus, the glowing stuff is kind of common already, i mean new acer and hp laptops got it, so if they all glow it's gonna be somewhat strange - like a desperate move and adoption of the things that seem to sell better.
