Storm 2

Pictures of Storm 2 have been leaked. Looks sort of disappointing at the moment since they haven't seem to added anything feature like a la Apple IPhone 3G. Seems a better screen resolution and thinner but thats about it. The leaker didn't show us a home screen so we don't know if its CDMA or GSM or dual.

looking pretty good to me! thinner and the whole entire screen is now a touchscreen, even the lower buttons

I am surprised that they got rid of sure press so quickly since it was its big marketing point for Storm1. Storm 2 looks thinner and should be more easy to use. Hopefully less laggy than Storm 1 too :)

Glad to see they are coming out with the Storm 2 as I thought I heard of a company that was going to develop technology to disable the SurePress on the original Storm.

I guess the extra effort of pressing made more people frustrated than anything.

Ya. I am loving the Tour aswell, but the storm 2 is a differant beast. It would be great to see Bell get them both for more Variety. I would get the Tour, well I am getting the tour, but this is going to be a big step up from the Storm 1

I think the Storm 1 was a rush job for the big Q4 push last year and hopefully they have fixed all the issues for the second coming.

Storm 2 might not draw too much attention due to storm 1. So that can hurt sales, I for sure am picking one up, hopefully they drop a gsm one 1st that would bring in sales that they couldn't receive in canada with rogers customers.

If Rogers does release a Storm also, their lineup will simply dominate. HTC Dream, HTC Android, iPhones, Nokia 5800, BB 8900 and Bold, X1 (sometime), C905 etc etc etc...

TELUS will be releasing some great devices soon. They have been quiet this past quarter but Q3 and also Q4 will be great launches for them.
