BGR says the specs potentially will be:

* AWS 1700MHz + 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA
* 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera
* GPS
* Wi-Fi
* QWERTY keyboard
* 480×360 screen
* Carbon fiber-esque back battery cover (the whole back is a carbon fiber pattern apparently)
* Much sexier than the BlackBerry 8900
Enjoy :)

This look awesome, especially if they add the track pad I think it could be amazing.

how would the add that track pad? Is this not being close to the final product... I mean September is not that far away and wouldn't massive amount of manufacturing be involved in that, plus testing?

Telus/Bell doesn't do wifi on blackberries. Not sure why, but a wifi enabled blackberry always seems to be a Rogers exclusive.

So would this work on Globalive's network? I am just wondering I don't really understand what kind of spectrum they bought I thought it was the same as T-Mobile.

According to this Workopolis posting:
"We are Canada's newest national provider of wireless communications services. We will provide voice, text and data services to Canadians on a next-generation GSM network launching in Q4 of 2009. "

"The First 'No Compromise' BlackBerry Smartphone..."

* 3G device - GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS (Bands: 850, 900, 1800, 1900)
* 480 by 360 display, beveled edges
* 256 megabytes of internal memory (same as Curve 8900, 8520)
* 1550mAh M-S1 battery (same as Bold)
* 3.2 megapixel camera, with flash and auto focus
* Processor: Not 100% sure actually, but am hearing its a Tavor processor that may be running even a bit quicker than the Bold's 624MHz processor (definitely seems snappy)
* GPS, WiFi (UMA capable but we'll see what happens there), and all the normal stuff you'd expect on a BlackBerry smartphone

I must say that RIM has come a long way with their designs. Remember the first BB and how they looked?

These are getting more sleek and stylish with each new model. It could be that they have the dough to spend on product development now!

So the AT&T leaked slides or presentation or whatever it was on Engadget. I noticed that the Onyx had a trackball. I wonder if this means the rumored trackpad will not be going on the Onyx.

It will be interesting no doubt. Magnum looks cool but who knows what they should do with it.
