8900 crashing

I just got my 8900 curve yesterday and today it has crashed twice on me. It goes black and the red light comes on and then restarts itself. Once it happened when browsing and one during a call. Is this normal or is this a bad phone?

should have gone with the bold lol. JK, if you go to www.crackberry.com and read up on the newest beta/OS releases for the 8900, install that, and you should be good to go. Or call Rogers tech

i had the same problem with my 8900 curve when i got it first, it was a hardware problem so i exchanged it for new one. But as quicksilv3r said i suggest the same for try the OS upgrade than if it doesn't work, restore it to original OS than exchange it with Rogers.

After the first two crashes I pulled the battery for a while and it's worked awesome ever since, I love this thing
