so im potentially starting a koodo plan and getting the lg keybo

$25 month for 100 min, unlimited txting, and evenings and weekends free. and $5 for call display

QUESTIONS:
if i so happen to break my phone, what will koodo do for me? or what will i have to do?
-do i have to buy a new phone and start a new tab, then continue paying off TWO tabs?
if i go away for university will i somehow be able to continue/transfer my plan in a different area?
-for example, could i transfer my plan from markham, ontario to london, ontario?
does koodo still have problems with dropped calls or delayed sent and/or received text messages?

i really do think this plan sounds good. but the only thing keeping me back is that im scared if i some how break my phone. ill be stuck with having to pay off 2 phones. but you see, if i was with rogers, and broke my phone, i could buy a cheap phone or borrow a friend's and just swap the SIM card into it.

1. I think koodo will send a loaner and send your phone to repair.
2. If you buy one phone on a tab and one phone at full price, you can cancel the contract on the one at full price and use it as a back up.
3. I don't think so.

I've never had a problem with dropped called with Koodo but I find there is some delay in sending and receiving text messages, and can sometimes be a long delay of about an hour.

You can most definitely transfer your plan to another province. You would just need to change your phone #.

Koodo run's off the same network as TELUS and Bell. TELUS is the parent company as well.

The TAB is a good idea. You pay a percentage of it down every month. If you break your phone after a few months, then you can get a new handset, but you won't get as rich a subsidy, as you did when you first get your phone.

I say, if that is what is going to work for you, go for it.
