Hi all,

Did a quick search and didn't see anything so I have a question about roaming on wind. It is my understanding that they currently have a roaming agreement (within canada) with Rogers that provides 2g service (as AWS is not compatible with ROBELLUS's 3g). Does this mean that if I had an unlocked AWS phone that was compatible with Rogers 2G that I could purchase a prepaid SIM from Rogers for when I'm going to be out of Winds coverage area for an extended period of time, such as a trip to Montreal or Halifax etc? After seeing those pics of the HTC Pyramid I'm thinking more and more about making the switch to Wind/Mobilicity.

Thanks!

Regardless of whether Wind or Mobilicity have an agreement with Rogers or not, you can always take an unlocked GSM phone with the 850/1900 Mhz 2G frequencies and pop a Rogers (or Fido, better pricing, same reception) sim in it. Generally, all new AWS-compatible phone have quadband GSM, which means they will be compatble with Rogers/Fido in 2G. Just double-check in the specs list when you buy the phone.

The pyramid looks sweet as hell! Not officially announced yet so gotta be patient for that
