That isn't true. All you folks need to Google is 'download omnia widgets'. You can find quite a selection.
Keep in mind, any software you install that isn't placed on the handset by the manufacturer is not supported by TELUS.
I have a few different ones on my Omnia. You can also find a lot of different widgets by searching owner's forums.

Correct, but nothing "official" from Samsung like an application store for Canada.

i tried to download but nothing installed, plus my OMNIA freezes on start up. :(

for those who have the OMNIA, how are you finding it? Mine sometimes crashes (only twice so far) and the accelerometer is ok. Pics are great though.
