Don't waste your money. You can do it yourself. Here's step-by-step instructions on how to do it:
1) Jailbreak iPhone
Windows - http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1881
Mac - http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1842
2) Unlock iPhone - http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=2538
Good luck, it's a very easy procedure!
(Remember, in order to unlock, you must jailbreak first.)

Yes BUT you can always restore to carrier specs if you need to use the warranty :D

If you don't mind a bit of DIY -- you can get your phone 'unlocked' with a little device you slip between your sim card and your phone -- they're pretty cheap compared to getting it unlocked via a service (unless you use the software one)
it doesn't actually unlock the phone but bypasses the phone's sim lock software stuff -- so you can slip another carrier's sim card in your phone w/o it knowing
Not to advertise but there's a bunch @ deal extreme (you can search for it) for pretty cheap

Worst way to unlock a phone ever.
Don't do it.
