This was the year of the “good cheap” smartphone. As parts prices dropped and operating systems matured, we saw sublime offerings from many companies, most notably Motorola and Nokia.



The anguish of updates

WIND launches the HTC Desire

The HTC Desire has made the trek across most Canadian carriers and the latest to add the entry-level Android is WIND Mobile. The prices fall inline with their competitors at $0 on the WindTab, then slowly rise upward to $349 outright. This might be a good device to couple with their upcoming holiday plan. As
