Nokia C3 finds a home at Petro-Canada

The Nokia C3 is available at several locations: Rogers, Chatr, 7Eleven and now finds a spot at Petro-Canada. The price is $129 outright, or you can redeem 205,000 Petro-Points. Also if you buy 50 buck in airtime they’ll lower the cost to $89. The price is a bit on the high side considering with Chatr you can get it for $100, a free bluetooth and their plans are cheaper (plus Unlimited). Just saying there are options. The C3 has a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4 inch display, MP3 Player, 2.0 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and holds up to 8 GB with microSD card.

Petro-Canada releases Nokia 2220 at $79, still too much

The Nokia 2220 was just released by Petro-Canada and it’s a device that actually suits their Prepaid lineup… to bad the price is a bit high though. You can get this entry level device for $79 and it comes with a 1.8-inch display (resolution of 128×160), VGA camera with video capabilities, FM radio. It’s always good to be informed and just so you know, Fido launched this a couple months back for $65 no-contract, plus they have better voice plans.

Petro-Canada lowers price of Nokia 2680 to $60

For anyone who cares and wants to get their next prepaid device at a reasonable cost, Petro-Canada has lowered the price of the entry level Nokia 2680. This was originally launched at $110 but now you can score this for a bargain at $60.

Features include Voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, three-way calling, Bluetooth capabilities, speakerphone, VGA camera, GPRS Web browser, MP3 Player, Calculator, Organizer and FM radio. The screen size is 128 x 160 pixels.

Nokia 2720 arrives at Petro-Canada for $95

The Nokia 2720 is sure making their rounds in Canada. This was just released by Fido for $0.00 on a 2-year, or $70 with no contract. Also, Speak Out Wireless will be launching this soon at $99. Now it seems like the folks over at Petro-Canada wants to jump on this entry-level device.

The Petro Nokia 2720 can be yours for $95 on Prepaid… this flip phone has a 1.3 megapixel camera with video capabilities, FM Radio, Bluetooth, MP3 Player and a 2.5mm Audio Jack.

Petro-Canada Mobility drops prices, hopes to stay alive.

Petro-Canada has come out with a new promotion that looks to be a complete drop in prices of almost all their devices. Here’s a summary:
- Nokia 2680 is now $90 (reduced from $110)
- Nokia 2760 is now $69 (reduced from $80)
- Nokia 1208 is now $49 (reduced from $59)
- Nokia 3555 is now $79 (reduced from $149)
In addition, you can buy the Nokia 1661 for $30 when you purchase $25 in airtime

Petro-Canada offers up free car charger with Nokia 2680

This is not the most earth shattering news, but once must report a deal one sees one. If you are interested in going Prepaid and want a basic device, Petro-Canada is offering up the Nokia 2680 for $110 and they are throwing in a car charger to entice you.

Petro-Canada has released what looks and sounds like their best device to-date, the Nokia 2680 is a slider phone that can be yours for $110 or if you choose, redeem 180,000 Petro-Points. The 2680 measures 99 x 47.1 x 14.8 mm and weighs in at 97 grams.

Petro-Canada sees future in Mobile, revamps website

Even though Canadian gas prices have dropped almost by 40% in the last 3 months, it’s nice to see that Petro-Canada is looking for more ways to make additional money rather than gum, chocolate bars etc…

Petro-Canada Mobility is a MNVO (mobile virtual network operator) that has been around since 2006 and operates on the Rogers Network. With all this said they have revamped their website and brought it up to the 21st century. It’s a cleaner and fresher look, nothing else is really new as they have the same Nokia devices available (Nokia 3555, Nokia 2760, Nokia 2630 and Nokia 1208), but they do have a promo going on that can save you $25 when you purchase the Nokia 2760 with $50 or $100 worth of airtime.

This is worth looking into if you’re into pre-paid phones.
