Yet another case of a huge cellphone bill caused by roaming charges. This is not like the recent TELUS customer who had $37,000 in charges while visiting Egypt… this $3,195.40 bill was all from texting. Adam Fagen has a $30 plan Koodo and he went the the U.S. in April for a hockey scholarship. He [...]
Koodo Mobile has released the iPhone 4. Certainly a step up in class for their devices as this joins the Nexus S as one of their flagship phones. As expected, you can get the iPhone 4 on the Tab for $500, or on a newly created three-year contract for $160. Koodo does make a note [...]
When the BlackBerry PlayBook launched in April it was widely available in Canada, carriers and big box retailers all carried the 7-inch Wi-Fi tablet. It also looks like TELUS’ sub-brand Koodo Mobile might be added to the list as brochures have started to arrive at various locations. More soon! (Thanks tipster!)
Koodo Mobile will in fact be grabbing hold of the iPhone 4. We let you know a couple days ago that this rumour might come true, but you can see by this internal screenshot that the device is coming soon in all flavours. Both the iPhone 4 16 and 32GB models in white and black. [...]
Customers have been able to purchase an iPhone and activate it on Koodo’s network for some time now, so this rumour is not a far stretch at all. Every carrier that can sell the iPhone 4 is doing so. Solo and Koodo are the only carriers left out of the game. We’ve been informed from [...]
Most Canadian carriers activated the Personal Hotspot feature when it went live with the iOS 4.3 upgrade back in March. TELUS’ sub-brand Koodo Mobile was holding out for some reason (odd as all of their Android devices have a Hotspot features build-in)… but 3 months later it now seems that Koodo has flipped the switch [...]
TELUS’ sub-brand Koodo Mobile will be adding another Android powered device to their lineup. They already have the LG Optimus One and the “pure Google” Nexus S but coming soon is the INQ Cloud Touch. This comes with OS 2.2 Froyo, integration with Facebook, 3.5-inch display (320 x 480), 5 megapixel camera with video, Wi-Fi [...]
If the BlackBerry Curve 3G in white looks anything like the white Bold 9780 does then it’ll sell well. Koodo Mobile was rumoured to be bringing this new colour of smartphone on and today it’s available. This Berry can be yours for $250 or $100 on the Tab.
Koodo Mobile added the BlackBerry Curve 3G to their lineup at the end of March for $300, then quickly dropped it to the no-term price of $200 (but now back up to $250). To spike sales of this smartphone it looks like Koodo will be adding the fresh new white Curve 3G soon. No word [...]
Looks like Koodo is going to be offering an Internet key soon (a good addition to their growing lineup). A SKU has shown up in their inventory system but no word on which product(s) they’ll be releasing or when or at what cost. Most likely it’ll be the Huawei E182E or the Sierra Wireless 306 [...]
