The Samsung Galaxy S4 – “Your Life’s Companion” – has seen sales surpass 10 million since its release in May. We have one here, courtesy of Rogers, and have decided to give it away!

A refresher of specs has the Galaxy S4 packing Android OS Jelly Bean, 5-inch display (1920 x 1080), 1.9GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor, LTE-enabled, 13MP camera that shoots 1080p HD video, 2MP front-facing camera and a 2600 mAh battery. You can have a gander at our full in-depth review here.

This could be one of the coolest contests we’ve ever held. This is not the ordinary device giveaway, but a special edition of Nokia’s flagship smartphone. To coincide with the upcoming release of Superman ‘Man of Steel’ we’ve received a Superman-themed Nokia Lumia 920 prize pack. Here’s what this gem of a giveaway includes:

Contest: Win the “RIM 25th Anniversary Edition” of Monopoly

Here’s the backstory. Our street had a massive garage sale and one of guys was an ex-RIM employee. There was the usual cassettes, CD’s, pillows, toys… but as a one-time board game designer this gem caught my attention. An item up from grabs was this precious “25th Anniversary Edition” RIM-branded Monopoly board game. I quickly snatched it up for a few bucks and thought somebody who really loves the long history of Research In Motion would want this collectible.

This was given to RIM employees – now named BlackBerry – to celebrate 25 years of innovation back in 2009. Gone is the usual car, thumbnail, shoe and in its place are “8 collectible tokens” that include the RIM and BlackBerry logos, Pearl Flip, BlackBerry 7200, BlackBerry Storm, RIM 850 and the BlackBerry Curve. Also, the Monopoly board has been designed with the different locations the company operates all over the world, plus highlights BBM, BES and also replaces the familiar ‘Chance’ and ‘Community Chest’ with ‘Innovation’ and ‘Wireless Networks.”

The description says:
“Celebrate 25 Years of innovation! The Monopoly Brand is proud to present RIM 25th Anniversary Edition of the world’s most famous game. In the past 25 years, RIM has become a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of innovative wireless solutions for the worldwide mobile communications market.

Audiofly AF33 In-Ear Headphones Review + Contest [Win One of Three Pairs!]

How I came to know about Audiofly was more than just a bit serendipitous. Walking around the massive halls of the MGM Grand during this year’s CES opening night, I stumbled upon a small table behind which a couple excited Australians were showing off their wares.

Audiofly is a relatively new company, releasing their first product in 2011 and expanding slowly throughout the world. They’ve inked deals with retailers Best Buy Canada and EB Games (who currently have it on sale for $29.99), and cater to both the entry-level and high-end market. While I’ve tried the company’s amazing $199 AF78 in-ear headphones, it was after trying their entry-level fare, the $39.99 AF33, that I knew we had to get a contest going.

These are easily the best in-ear headphones I’ve tried in the under-$50 price range, with accurate mids, subtle and uniform treble and pounding base. Moreover, the headphones don’t fall out of your ears, and the kit comes with a bag of silicon replacements for different ear canal sizes. While the default size fit perfectly in my ears, I had success with a number of them.

The AF33′s lack in-line controls for your iPhone or Android, but select models do come with a microphone, making it easy to take phone calls while listening to music. They also strike the right balance between noise isolation and external awareness: unlike flange-tipped headphones that attempt to close your ear canal completely to block all external noise, the AF33′s mask external noise without endangering you and the ones around you.

In short, the Audiofly AF33′s are much better than the equivalently-priced Apple EarPods, and are worth seeking out if you’re looking to get an inexpensive pair of in-ear headphones. The company’s more expensive range, particular the excellent AF78′s, are worth considering as well.

The AF33′s come in multiple colours, including white, black, blue, red and pink.

Like I said earlier, the second I heard these headphones I wanted to run a contest to give away a few pairs. Audiofly was generous enough to provide three pairs of AF33′s for a contest, so that’s what we’re going to do.

It’s here. The BlackBerry Q10 has landed on Canadian ground. We’ve partnered up with TELUS to give one of these QWERTY/Touch beauties away!
