It appears the sun has set on BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone.
Earlier this week, Shop BlackBerry, the company’s online store, launched its latest sale. Everything available through the store is on sale.
Well, almost everything.
While consumers can still buy cases to safeguard the almost two-year-old device, the Priv itself is no longer available via Shop BlackBerry. We’ve reached out to BlackBerry to confirm whether the company has discounted the smartphone. We’ll update this article when we hear back from the company.
In the meantime, if you want to pick up either the DTEK60 or DTEK50, both are on sale. BlackBerry has discounted the DTEK 60 by a modest $38, down to $612. The DTEK50, meanwhile, is $300, down from $430, for the duration of the sale. All accessories are also 50 percent off during the sale.
