Twitter is continuing its foray into live streaming with a slew of new partnerships.
Following on its limited rollout of broadcasting select NFL, MLB, Wimbledon and NHL live events in 2016, Twitter is making 2017 count by announcing its first Digital Content NewFronts that takes shape in a 24/7 streaming with Bloomberg, and several agreements in core areas such as sports, news and entertainment.
In total, there are thirteen partners and Canadians will have access to most, with the exception of the Stadium deal as there are already broadcasting agreements in place with Canadian content providers. So, this means no NHL live streaming content via Twitter.
Here is the complete list of the upcoming live programs:

Canadians will now be able to have more options, whether they’re looking for news, sports, entertainment or tech content. We truly have something for everyone.”

Twitter currently has 328 million users and recently reported Q1 2017 revenues of $548 million USD.
