This story isn’t Canadian related at all. In fact, it’s an elaborate marketing stunt put together by T-Mobile, an American carrier.
Still, this unboxing is so insane it’s impossible to ignore it. T-Mobile teamed up with Samsung to unbox the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S8 underwater, in a shark tank surrounded by sharks. Yes, you read that correctly.
Of course, since the S8 and S8+ are IP68 water and dust resistant, the phone is fine. As far as unboxings go, however, this is one of the craziest I’ve witnessed. It’s worth noting that it’s probably not a good idea to put the S8, or any IP68 certified electronic device, in salt water.
