Public Mobile to offer SIMs at three locations today and tomorrow

Telus-owned online-only brand Public Mobile recently made a splash in the Canadian wireless space by offering a $40/4GB plan.

That promo is running until November 20th, but it recently disappeared from Public Mobile’s website. That doesn’t mean the plan is no longer available, however, as Public Mobile say it’s honouring it until the end of the day Sunday.

To get it, you need to get a SIM however, and without physical locations your options to get one on short notice are limited. To address this, Public is breaking with tradition and will be selling SIMs in three locations across Canada Friday and Saturday.

The three locations where the SIMs are set to be sold are as follows:

Toronto
TELUS Tower
25 York Street
Toronto Ontario
M5J 2V5

Vancouver
TELUS Garden
510 West Georgia Street
Vancouver British Columbia
V6B 0M3

Montreal
TELUS Tower
630 René-Lévesque Boulevard West
Montreal Quebec
H3B 3C1

There will be limited quantities of SIMs at each location and only two SIMs can be sold per person. You also shouldn’t be able to miss the Pubic Mobile staff, they’ll be wearing orange capes. The only forms of payment accepted will be credit and debit.

The promo plan won’t show up until you start the activation process, at which point selecting a 90 day activation period, province-wide phoning, global texting, and 12 GB of data will discount the plan down to the $120/90 day promotional price. Proceeds from the event will go to the Movember charity.
