Great, please do update the post if Lenovo gets back to you.

    • Rose

      Absolutely!

    • cappein

Thanks for the update! They really are selling this in Canada.

I have been trying to order this phone for days. They removed their price on the lenovo Canada website, live chat is cluless. Bizzare how they remove links without explanation?

  • Noel Smith

Can you buy the regular Phab 2 or Phab 2 Plus in Canada?

    • CaptainAwesomer

I see the regular Phab 2 on Lenovos website (and the pro), but not the plus.

  • Peggy

Will it work on the Wind network?

    • dirtyKIMCHI

The US model, which should be the model sold here, has Band 4 UMTS/HSPA, making it compatible with Wind’s current offering. It does not have Band 66 LTE, so no future LTE until Shaw/WIND refarms its AWS HSPA to AWS LTE.

  • Karen MacInnis

I did a live chat with Lenovo US and their rep knew nothing about the phone being in Canada. I then called Lenovo and they said it’s not available in Canada yet and didn’t know when it would be.

  • Jeet Suri

I spoke to live chat and they told me it’s factory unlocked so it will work with wind and all carriers in Canada.

  • O-Time

I wonder how the non-pro version will be? I’ve been looking for a +6″ screen to replace my bricked Xperia X Ultra so don’t really care about Google Tango. I just want it for LTE and the screen size.

    • I’m Awful At Math

Well, the regular Phab 2 has a 720p screen and the Phab 2 Plus has a 1080p screen, the Plus has a fingerprint sensor, and both have a 13MP rear shooter. Unfortunately the real sticking point for me was the both the Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus are running poverty-spec Mediatek processors.

I don’t care about Tango either, but I’m still going with the Pro for the rest of the hardware.

  • Odd. The page doesn’t list any models available. Wonder if it is already sold out or just not fully set up yet.

I ordered one on Nov 3 and delivery was supposed to be around Nov 15. I just checked the status and the date has changed to Dec 6. I called Lenovo and now they don’t know when it will come, says it will be shipped from China to me directly in Canada. I don’t think they’re ready. I also noticed there’s no price listed on the website like there used to be.

    • O-Time

The same thing happened to me, but then I got an email that my phone has shipped with a delivery date of Nov 17th. BUT, the UPS tracking number doesn’t work and my credit card hasn’t been charged so I’m skeptical.

    • Karen MacInnis

That’s exactly where my order stands as well. When I click on the Track Package button, it says “Pick Up/Gate In (Milestone AF)”. After that is “Arrived in Country”, “Cleared Customs” and then “Out for Delivery” and then “Delivered”!!! And my credit cardhasn’t been charged yet, so I really doubt that it’s left China yet.

    • Urban Geekette

Same here. My credit card has not been charged yet and I got an email that my phone has shipped with a delivery date of Nov. 16th (the UPS tracking number provided is not working).

    • Karen MacInnis

My credit card was charged today and date of delivery is still slated for tomorrow!

    • O-Time

I was charged too… and my delivery date is today (Nov 17th)… we’ll see.

    • Geekette

Did you received your order today? My credit card was charged too and my delivery date is today and I did not received my order yet…

    • O-Time

Nope, I didn’t receive anything. However, Lenovo did mail me a copy of the order invoice!

    • Karen MacInnis

Just received my invoice in the mail too. I called them again today and was told that it is in the States, has to clear customs and then it will move quickly. Once it clears Customs, they’ll email a new Tracking number that will start with 1Z.

    • Karen MacInnis

Nov 17 Update – No phone delivery. I called UPS, the tracking number isn’t good but they were able to find my order, it shows there’s been no movement on the order since Nov 10th. I called Lenovo at 1-855-253-6686 (US even though it’s the Canadian site). They gave me the new UPS Tracking number and said something about exceeding orders and that my phone is now in Greensboro, NC. When I track the new number, it shows that it’s still in the states and the status is “Order Processed: Ready for UPS”.

      Has anyone received theirs?

    • O-Time

Nov 21 Update – I called Lenovo and they gave me a similar update that the phone is in Greensboro, NC and pending customs clearance. They said they received confirmation that the shipment is moving tonight and I should see an updated status or tracking number tomorrow.

    • O-Time

It arrived last night!!! So far so good!!

I have been trying to order this phone for days now. They removed their price on the lenovo Canada website, live chat is cluless. Bizzare how they remove links without explanation? Oddly enough the usa lenovo website has $499.00usd but when you click buynow it shows no stock and no options to back order. You would think lenovo the size they are has manufacturing capacity to roll these out before Christmas. Especially when they own moto cellular division. What a joke this is like something you expect from tiny manufacturers or startups. Not impressed.

    • Rose

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll be looking into this!

    • Denster

I checked this morning and was finally able to make an order

    • Rose

Well, this sure is rollercoaster ride lol! Updated. Was never able to get a response from Lenovo. Edit: Now I did!

    • Denster

As of this morning the US and Canadian stores are allowing customers to add the Phab 2 Pro to their shopping cart, not sure if it will stay this way for long

  • Karen MacInnis

I received my phone today in Ontario!!!! It is an amazing phone. Now that I’m finished work for the day, I can start getting everything set up. Hope everyone else gets theirs soon!

  • manbob

Will it work with Freedom Mobile?

  • Toejah

They seem to have removed all info on the phabs from the canada site.

  • aniym

Checking the Lenovo link on Jan 20, 2017; I get a screen saying “The product WMD00000220 is no longer available”. Classic Lenovo. They’ve probably forgotten about this product already.
