PlayStation Now PC streaming is now available in Canada

Just last week, Sony announced plans to bring its internet-streaming game service, PlayStation Now, to Windows PCs. At the time, the Japanese company didn’t say when Canadians would be able to start streaming PS3 games on their home computer, but it turns out we didn’t have to wait long.

PlayStation Now is now available in Canada.

Before you start playing PS3 classics like The Last of Us and Demon’s Souls and Journey, you’ll need a PC with at least a 3.5GHz Core i3 inside, as well as a PlayStation Now subscription. Ideally, a DualShock 4 controller is also recommended.

To celebrate the launch, Sony has dropped the price of the 12-month PS Now subscription to $100, and six new titles to the PlayStation Now library, including Mafia II, Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition, as well as the Studio Ghibli and Level 5 co-created JRPG, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.
