With the latest revision to its software update schedule, Telus says monthly Android security upgrades will arrive on most Nexus-branded devices on May 2.
In addition, Note 4 owners can pencil May 16 on their calendars, as that’s the date their device is expected to get Android Marshmallow. Likewise, Galaxy S5 owners can almost revel in the sweetness that is Marshmallow; Telus lists May 2 as the most likely date that device will receive the latest version of Google’s OS.
As always, Telus’s software update schedule fine print states “all dates are approximate and subject to change.” However, it has been fairly accurate in the past.
