It looks like one of the G5’s Friends won’t be making the trip across the Pacific Ocean to Canada, at least not anytime soon.
The Bang & Olufsen Hi-Fi DAC module is no longer scheduled to come to Canada based on the fact the accessory is no longer listed on any of the company’s North American websites.
Android Authority first noticed the module missing from LG’s U.S. website on Monday morning. We’ve since looked through the company’s Canadian web assets and can confirm it’s missing from there too. There’s no mention of it on either LG’s main Canadian website or the dedicated webpage the company has set up for the G5.
We’ve contacted LG to ask it to comment the development. We’ll update this article when we hear back from the company.
In the meantime, Canadians can still surround their G5 with some of its other friends, including the Cam Plus, 360 VR and 360 Cam.
