Telus Galaxy S6, S7 and S7 edge scheduled to receive Marshmallow within next two weeks

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ were some of the latest smartphones to get Android Marshmallow in Canada. Now it looks like more devices will get the latest version of Google’s operating system.

Telus’ “Software Update Schedule” has been a good source for Canadians to stay informed on possible device OS update timings, and the carrier has once again revealed some new dates.

While the standard “all dates are approximate and subject to change” is applicable here, Telus now lists the Moto G (1st Gen.) will be updated to Android 6.0 on April 12, slipping from the previously scheduled date of April 7. In addition, the Samsung GS6 is still scheduled to be updated on April 18, while the newly released Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 will receive unknown bug fixes on the same date.
