Toronto is set to be hit with a massive winter storm today, which is predicted to be the first true snow dump of the year. Toronto-based Jiffy wants to make life a bit easier for those in the city by offering users free snow removal services.
Jiffy launched late last year with the goal of becoming the “Uber of home maintenance” by providing, convienent on-demand services. This latest promo offers snow removal services, which includes plowing and salting of driveways and walkways, with the code “SNOWDAY.”
“Our goal is to save Torontonians time and make home maintenance as seamless as possible by providing trusted and insured snow removal providers to clear driveways and walkways across the city,” said Paul Arlin, Jiffy co-founder. “We want all Torontonians to experience Jiffy’s reliable and convenient home services available on demand.”
Jiffy notes that it is working within a three-hour time frame and free snow removal services are on a first-come-first-served basis. Those unable to score the free service will receive $50 off a future Jiffy purchase.
Jiffy also allows users to search for specific needs — such as painting, carpentry, gardening, plumbing, car detailing, and electrical — and then have a trade expert arrive at their home to solve the issue. The app is available on iOS/Android and, while expensive, offers value through convenience.
