The leak battle between LG’s G5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S7 continues, with both smartphones sharing the spotlight at Mobile World Congress later this month.

We’ve already seen Galaxy S7 press renders, as well as a few blurry shots, but the latest leaked images (seen below) give us the best look yet at the still unannounced smartphone.

Frequently reliable leaker Evan Blass, who is also the source of the original S7 render picture, has tweeted out a new image of Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, revealing that the next Galaxy will likely be available in silver.

In a separate but equally interesting leak, French mobile website Pisapapeles has reportedly received images of what looks like a gold Galaxy S7.

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 is expected to be revealed on February 21st at the company’s Unpacked event during Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona.

Other rumours indicate that the Galaxy S7 will feature an “always on” display and that Samsung plans to sell an S7 2,700 mAh battery case.

  • Looks almost identical to the last design language. Not sure if this is a good thing.

It’s very close except the back has curved glass now, just like the current Note 5. Also, the camera is almost completely flush now, the home button a bit larger and reportedly it has a bigger battery that probably makes the device a bit thicker.

It’s a great looking phone imo.

    • Yea it sure is a good looking phone. I own the S6 so I’m somewhat tired of the way it looks. Bigger battery is definitely needed.

They should keep their design for at least 3 years so that cases and accessories remains compatible.

    • I’m the most certain that the s6 case wouldn’t fit in this one.

Of course it is better than good thing. Apple does all the time, why no complaints there?

  • Lol every year it feels like these are planned leaks

  • Ethan

I’m hoping for more screen curve to the edge model.

  • Sean-Paul

Can’t wait for that S7 Edge. Gonna be a sexy device. Fingers crossed for the truth in the bigger battery.

    I’ll be looking at the g5 & htc. I wasn’t super impressed w/the gs6. It’s not a bad device but I’m not thrilled w/it either.

MicroSD slot, no or yes? I am hearing that Bell is saying no.

Who the eff cares what any of these new phones LOOK like OR what effing color they are??? WHAT do they DO performance wise? Are they REALLY better than the previous iteration? Will they have ANY positive effect on my life and make me a better person other than the usual of draining the bank account???

    • Nadefrenzy

Settle down. Wait for them to launch first. For now, this is all that’s available for media outlets.

YOU settle down with your rose colored phone, this ‘Launch Leak’ has been going on for months AND we still don’t know the hardware specs nor if it will make the world a better place… YOU think this is okay?

    • Nadefrenzy

Yes, I don’t care for it. Even if the specs did leak (which btw they have), you’d have to take it with a grain of salt. If you expect the smartphone to make the world a better place then that’s your own issue–cuz it won’t. I’ll wait for the official announcement on the 21st for anything worthwhile.

    • AlxRocks AlxRocks

Ooooo, I hear tell those people there are making another Star Wars movie… just wait till the presstitutes find out and start the hourly speculation.

  • Ipse

The gold S7 is 25% faster than the silver one…..wait, what?
Never understood the infatuation with this tacky color…does it make you look richer?
