Ritual, the Toronto-made app that allows Torontonians to save time grabbing lunch from the city’s best restaurants by allowing them to order and pay for their food ahead of time through an app, today announced Ritual Rewards, a new customer loyalty program aimed at frequent users of the service.
Throughout the month of January, Ritual users will get 20 percent off of every other order made at the same restaurant or cafe. To take advantage of the discount, users simply need to visit the same restaurant or cafe within four days of their initial purchase; the app handles everything else.
Ritual is currently available in Toronto’s King West, Discovery District, Liberty Village, Yorkville, Financial District, St Lawrence Market, Yonge and Dundas areas. The company plans to expand to other parts of Canada in the near future. The app recently launched in Toronto’s sister city, Chicago.
Founded by three former Google employees, Ritual incorporates many of the lessons the company’s founders learned optimizing Google’s popular search engine.
