When the Priv came to market last year, BlackBerry made a show of the number of first-party apps it developed for the platform. This week, one more comes to the fore: a diagnostic app called Virtual Expert.
Available on BlackBerry 10 for many years, now Priv users can quickly glance at the health of their smartphone, such as the battery, keyboard, touchscreen, camera and audio.
The description notes, “This application is designed to help you identify the cause of symptoms that your BlackBerry device may exhibit or display. You will be guided through a series of hardware tests to produce a test results summary.”
