The holidays often bring joy to people in many different ways, but in the form of phone updates is not chief among them.
Telus has plans to change that this year by launching a number of important software updates over the course of the next week or so, starting today with the HTC One M8 and Moto X 2014.
While we’ve known the One M8’s upgrade path for some time now, it wasn’t clear until recently whether the Moto X would receive Marshmallow at all. Now we know.
Both Telus-sold handsets will start receiving Android 6.0 today, likely rolling out in smaller numbers and increasing in density once the team has determined the updates are bug-free.
The Moto X Play is supposed to receive Marshmallow on Monday, December 21st, while the LG G3 and LG G4 are receiving security updates that same week.
