The Canadian retail launch of the Pebble Time Round has been delayed, according to Best Buy’s website.
Initially scheduled to go on sale today at Best Buy retail locations across Canada (Best Buy is Pebble’s exclusive retail partner for the Time Round), the new smartwatch will now be available starting on December 11th online through the company’s website. To make things right, though, Best Buy is offering a 10 percent discount on all wearable tech pre-orders with promo code ‘WTPREORDER’. Some stock has reportedly already made it to store shelves.
That said, it’s still possible to purchase the Time Round via Pebble’s e-commerce store. Despite having to pay for the watch in American dollars, the Time Round is currently subject to a 10 percent discount, which helps offset the current lacklustre exchange rate between the U.S. and Canadian dollar.
Moreover, there’s a greater selection of different watch faces and bands to choose from on the Pebble Store, and shipping is free to Canada.
