Today Microsoft revealed a new Insider program for Office 365 Home, Office 365 Personal and Office 365 University subscribers. In order to partake in the program subscribers need to opt-in to receive pre-release builds of the Windows version of Office 2016.
Office Insider is set to be available for Android devices with Windows 10 mobile support following suit shortly after. The program will also be available to Office 365 Mac users at some point in the next few months.
Microsoft’s new Officer Insider program is set to be a little different from its Xbox Insider and Windows Insider preview platform. The lead time between Office Insider preview builds and official releases will be between one and three weeks rather than multiple months like Microsoft’s other preview programs.
