The new Play:5, the latest addition to Sonos’ Play line of smart home speakers, is now available to pre-order on the company’s website for $549 CAD.
Available in white and black, the Play:5 features six custom designed speakers, each paired with its own Class-D amplifier. The system is able to seamlessly play music from a variety of sources, including streaming services like Spotify.
With the addition of the company’s innovative Trueplay Tuning software, it’s possible to optimize the Play:5 for almost any room.
A separate controller app, available on Android and iOS — as well as PC and Mac — allows Play:5 owners to operate the speaker with their smartphone.
The Play:5 is set to ship on November 25.
