Rogers expands Roam Like Home to 40 countries in the Caribbean, South and Central America

Cuba

With winter quickly approaching (shudder), Rogers has expanded the scope of its Roam like Home package to include a variety of warm climes in the Caribbean, Central and South America.

With more than 40 new countries being added today, Roam like Home now covers the vast majority of Latin American travel destinations; only Belize and the Falkland Islands are excluded from the list of eligible countries.

Like when it expanded Roam like Home to include most Western European countries, Share Everything customers traveling to one of the 40 nations covered by today’s announcement can text “travel” to 222 to activate the package prior to flying to their destination. Once on the ground, the plan grants Share Everything customers access to their exisiting data bucket, as well as unlimited talk and text, for $10 a day. After 10 days, the cost of the package is capped, even if the person stays in country for several more days. Lastly, calls within country and back to Canada are included in the package, with no additional long distance charges applied.
