Crisis averted! The Pebble Time app for iOS has finally been approved, though it took nearly 50 days of Apple review period to make it happen.
The company said in an email that credit goes to the thousands of Pebble Time backers who publicly endorsed the app, ostensibly forcing Apple’s hand.
Pebble also said that over 80% of the 57,000 Pebble Time watches originally ordered through Kickstarter have been manufactured, and that it is on track to deliver all of them by June 21st, when pre-orders open to everyone.
Pebble Time was the most successful Kickstarter campaign of all time, raising over $20 million. Over 20,000 Pebble Time Steel watches are also scheduled to be delivered in July.
