The Watch Urbane is now available to purchase from the Google Store. This is LG’s premium smartwatch and it comes in priced higher than its previous Android Wear-powered device at $399 CAD. The Watch Urbane is LG’s second round smartwatch, but the first to be available to Canadians.
As for specs, the wearable features a stainless steel body and stitched genuine leather strap (22mm), runs Android Wear 5.1 (with Wi-Fi), and a 1.3-inch Plastic OLED display (320 x 320, 245ppi), a Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, dust and water resistance (IP67 certified), a heart rate sensor, and 410mAh battery.
There are a couple colour options, gold and silver, but it seems that limited quantities are available. Google notes upon checkout that the Watch Urbane “Leaves warehouse in 2 – 3 weeks.”
