While we wait for OnePlus to release a follow-up to the popular OnePlus One, the company has announced yet another contest. This time it’s directed at those in the market for accessories, and OnePlus has teamed up with 3D printing company Ultimaker for what it deems “possibly [its] coolest contest yet.”
OnePlus is looking for its fans to create “any accessory you’d like” for a chance to score “epic” prizes. The public will vote and choose 20 finalists who will win an invite to purchase a 64GB Sandstone Black OnePlus One. That’s correct, for your hard work you will receive an invitation to buy a phone.
OnePlus and Ultimaker will then select three finalists and award them with various prizes: third place will win JBL E1+ Earphones or three spools of Ultimaker filament; second place will win a 64GB Sandstone Black OnePlus One, and first place scores a Ultimaker 2 3D printer.
The contest runs until March 19th and winners will be announced March 26th.
