Facebook will be aggregating all Super Bowl-related posts in one place this weekend

While hockey fans recover from a whole weekend of NHL All-Star madness (complete with GoPro action cams mounted to the players’ helmets), NFL fans are gearing up for their biggest weekend of the year: Super XLIX. The game kicks off in Phoenix this Sunday and Facebook is hoping to be your hub for all things football-related in the run up to and during the match.

The social network took to its official blog to announce a brand new Super Bowl experience that’s debuting for the 2015 face off between the Patriots and the Seahawks. This can be found at facebook.com/superbowl and will show you all of the Superbowl related content in your network, in one place. This page will show you a live feed of everyone talking about the game as well as news about the Super Bowl, pages you might like, links to where you can watch online, and more.

The draws directly from Facebook’s update to its Trending topics, which rolled out to mobile users in December. As a trending topic, the Super Bowl will have dedicated sections for Articles, ‘In the Story’ content (posts from people who are there), ‘Friends and Groups,’ and ‘Near the Scene.’

The page is already up and running (you can access it at facebook.com/superbowl or by clicking on Super Bowl in Trending, or by clicking on posts tagged “watching Super Bowl XLIX”) and is currently showing Deflategate content as well as pre-game posts from athletes and fans.
