OnePlus One goes on sale for Black Friday

OnePlus has one of the most interesting Android phones of the year but its biggest fault is that you can’t just decide you want it and then go and buy the phone. Because the OnePlus One has yet to hit general availability, interested parties are forced to trawl the web for invitations, clamour for invites during short pre-order windows, or buy the phone from Kijiji or Ebay at an inflated price.

If you’ve been mooning over the OnePlus One but have never managed to secure a unit using one of the above methods, we have some great news. OnePlus will be selling the phone sans invite for a whole 72 hours to celebrate Black Friday. Both the 64GB sandstone black and 16GB silk white models are available.

OnePlus is very clear that this offer will only last as long as the company has stock. In other words, the intention is to run this deal through until Monday, but it could disappear at any time. Given the problems OnePlus has had running pre-orders in the past, you should jump on it ASAP if you want the phone.

As usual, the 16GB model is priced at $299, while the 64GB model is priced at $349. For your money you’ll get a 5.5-inch 1080p display (Gorilla Glass 3) with 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP camera in the back, a 5MP front-facing camera, JBL-designed stereo speakers, and 3100mAh non-removable battery.
