WIND Mobile survey shows 50% of Canadians rely on their mobile devices to keep relationships strong

WIND Mobile has a few tips for those interested in making a deeper connection this holiday season. A survey by the Canadian upstart revealed over 74% of Canadians say it’s important to stay connected during the holiday season. There was no indication of how many Canadians were contacted for the survey results, but WIND notes that one in two Canadians rely on their mobile device to keep relationships strong.

Apart from promoting its new Cross-Canada plan, WIND hired relationship expert Kimberly Moffit to dream up tips that could possibly “recharge relationships with family and friends.” On the list were festive tips to keep connected this holiday season: Make Board Games Digital, Write Homemade Christmas Cards, and “Skype, Text and Call to Your Heart’s Content: Just Make Sure You Have a Plan.”

WIND Mobile has over 750,000 subscribers and Industry Canada recently approves WIND Mobile’s ownership transfer to be controlled by AAL Acquisitions Corp, which is a consortium of U.S. and Canadian investment companies.
