Google Keep adds ability to share and collaborate on lists

Google’s note-taking application Keep has been around for more than a year and a half but it always seemed strange that the company’s virtual sticky note app didn’t allow you to share those lists with contacts. That changed today, as Google confirmed that it is finally adding the ability to share lists with friends.

Announced today via the official Google blog, Keep version 3.0.0.1 also allows you and your contacts to work on the same list at the same time, whether that’s checking off items as they go in the cart or adding new items to the list.

You can also now search through your pile of virtual sticky notes by colour as well filter notes using certain parameters (like whether or not the post has images, an audio note, or reminder attached).

Google Keep requires Android 4.0 or higher, which means almost 90% of Android users are able to install it.
